Portable Unit

The VA1303 is a simple to operate, self contained, fully

portable audio frequency induction loop system built in to an

ergonomically designed clipboard style housing. It has an

integral microphone and transmitting loop and is supplied with

its own dedicated battery charger and tie clip microphone for

optional use. Power On and Loop Active indication is provided

by two LEDs visible through the housing.

The clipboard area will accept paper up to A4 or Letter size,

and the clip will retain pads of varying thicknesses.

All units feature the distinctive Struck-Out Ear logo,

which makes them instantly recognisable.

Power & Active LED's

The top face of the amplifier houses two brightly coloured

LEDS. The 'Power" LED illuminates when power to the unit

is applied, whilst the 'Active' LED will flicker during use

to denote that speech is being received and transmitted

inductively from the loop.

Optional Input

The VA1303 is supplied with a tie-clip microphone for optional

use at the users discretion. This should be plugged in to the

3.5mm jack socket at the top of the clipboard and be clipped

to a suitable location on a tie, shirt, lapel etc. The internal

microphone is disabled when this is in use.
